Cuts in Disability Student Allowance (DSA)

David Willets, Universities minister announced that he is to cut DSA  which BATA calculates would be a 70% cut in funding for essential IT equipment . Also, using a broader definition of disability will cause problems over who qualifies and what level of need.  For dyslexic users this could seriously impede them getting the finiancial help they might need in order to complete their courses . Many organisations such as BDA and BATA are campaigninng against these cuts . But what do you think?
