This new display material seems to be just on the verge of coming to the consumer market. There are 32” displays available for around £2000 at the moment but then that is for an outstanding display that would cost in excess of £1000 using traditional technology.
I have to say sequels tend not to be as good as the original. Puppet Pals 2 is an exception to this. Working on the success of adding your own image into the animation now with Puppet Pals 2 you can add mouth movement and cartoon bodies you can move and animate which ever way you want! For £2.99 for the full version – simply brilliant!

Crick have announced another app release. This is targetting older pupils with wordbar grids and text to speech. Cost £19.00 from the App store.
If you are using a Windows 8 machine and miss the menu and search windows then try this program which places a windows icon at the bottom of the screen to reveal the old familiar menu. I have been trying it out and it seems stable. It is a small cost $3.99 but worth every penny as I hate having to switch windows view to find an applications. It’s not fast Microsoft to do it that way! Call me stuck in my ways but this is really useful. I’ve attached an image to show what it looks like below. Thanks to Bob Harding for finding this!
