IAS Network

Local Authorities are compelled by the Children and Families Act 2014 to provide information, advice and support services to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as their parents. Although this is broader than ICT I think the knowledge of this independent advice service (IAS) that is not in the employ of a local authority and are supposed to give impartial advice to above set of people mentioned in the first sentence. It is national so if you are based in the UK. This is a UK only organisation it will give the details of your local IAS service.
